Let's Play with Type #2: Shape-Shifting
For this project, I choose to address marine pollution. The goal of the poster is to address and spread awareness on marine pollution and provide people with resources that they can use to help our oceans.
Some text ideas I had for the title were:
- Do you want to live with this ocean?
- Marine Life Depends on us
- Don't let our oceans drown in plastic
I ended up picking "Do you want to live with this ocean?" for the title because I wanted the title to be something that calls out the reader and make it personal.

I broke down the text "Do you want to live with this ocean?" and tried to separate and enlarge ocean compared to the rest of the text to emphasize the issue. For the color of the text, I tried to stick with different shades of blue to represent the ocean and added a strong around it so it wouldn't blend into the background making easier to read.

The background is a clear ocean and I made a clipping mask on the word ocean with an images of a polluted ocean. I wanted to add a contrast and show how the background is what our ocean supposed to look but instead, the clipping mask is how our oceans look like.

For the bottom text, I changed to size and color of "against marine pollution" for highlight and emphasis.
